Shell V-Power-global energy giant Royal Dutch Shell Plc's advanced fuel that cleans an automobile's engine of carbon deposits as it is used-was sold for the first time in 1998 and now has strong market in more than 70 countries and regions.
Shell V-Power is also the fruit of technological cooperation with Formula One racing legend Ferrari, underscoring Shell's consistent concept-"Fuels are different." Shell said V-Power can increase a vehicle's engine power and make every engine release its potential fully.
In May 2012, Shell V-Power officially entered China and it is sold in 61 Shell petrol stations in the northern city of Tianjin.
It appeared on the market in Chengdu in southwestern Sichuan province last year and were sold in regions including Xi'an and Beijing.
Shell and Ferrari have had a working relationship for nearly seven decades. During that period Scuderia Ferrari SpA-as the racing division of luxury Italian auto manufacturer Ferrari is known-won 16 Formula One World Constructors' Championships and 15 World Drivers' Championships.
