Chinese mainland reports 15 new imported COVID-19 cases

BEIJING -- The Chinese mainland reported 15 new imported COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the total number of imported cases to 3,716, the National Health Commission said Tuesday.

Of the new imported cases, six were reported in Sichuan, four in Shanghai, three in Guangdong, and one each in Tianjin and Shandong, the commission said in its daily report.

Among all the imported cases, 3,382 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery while 334 remained hospitalized, the commission said.

No deaths had been reported from the imported cases.

36 COVID-19 patients discharged from hospitals on Chinese mainland

BEIJING -- The National Health Commission said Tuesday that 36 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery on the Chinese mainland Monday.

There were 353 patients still being treated, including four in severe condition, the commission said in its daily report.

Altogether 81,374 patients had been discharged from hospitals after recovery by Monday, the commission said.

As of Monday, a total of 86,361 confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported on the mainland, among whom 4,634 died of the disease.

Chinese mainland reports no new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases

BEIJING -- The Chinese mainland on Monday reported no new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, the National Health Commission said Tuesday.

A total of 15 imported COVID-19 cases were reported across the mainland Monday, the commission said in its daily report.

No new suspected cases or deaths related to the disease were reported.
