Aviation forum to take place at North Bund

Shanghai's North Bund will host the first North Bund Global Aviation Forum on Nov 4.

Organized by China Eastern Air Holding Co Ltd and the Shanghai Airport Authority, the global aviation forum is part of the 2021 North Bund Forum hosted by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Transport. 

The North Bund Forum, which will commence on Nov 3 and run till Nov 5, comprises one main forum and two parallel sub-forums. There will also be five themed sessions on decarbonization, security and cooperation, justice and arbitration, digitalization and intelligence, as well as finance and insurance.

Bearing the theme "The Sustainable Development of the Global Aviation Industry", the global aviation forum is aimed at boosting communication and cooperation across the international aviation industry, promoting the sustainable development of the sector, strengthening the aviation industry's role in global trading, as well as facilitating the healthy development of global economy and trade. 

The event will serve as a platform for idea exchanges, the publication of industrial development and research, and showcasing Shanghai as an international shipping center.
