China's Qieyang Shijie is in line to be upgraded to a gold medal in the women's 20-kilometer race walk at the 2012 London Olympics, following a Russian race walker's disqualification.
For the same reason, Qieyang's fellow countrywomen Liu Hong and Lyu Xiuzhi would occupy the remaining steps on the podium to complete a Chinese sweep of the event.
Russian race walker Yelena Lashmanova is set to lose her 2012 Summer Olympics gold medal after the Athletics Integrity Unit placed a retroactive disqualification on her results due to an anti-doping violation.
