Neth Pheaktra, Cambodia's Minister of Information; Hu Jinjun, vice president of China Media Group; and Wang Wentian, Chinese ambassador to Cambodia, attended the forum and delivered a speech.
Neth Pheaktra noted that media is an important force in disseminating information, shaping images, and influencing public opinion. The media of Cambodia and China have a solid foundation and broad space for cooperation. They make outstanding contributions to building a China-Cambodia community with a shared future and promote political mutual trust, economic mutual benefit, and cultural mutual learning between the two countries.
Hu Jinjun said CMG is willing to work with other media to vividly record the practices of implementing the China-Cambodia "Diamond Hexagon" cooperation framework and building the "Industrial Development Corridor" and the "Fish and Rice Corridor," to enhance cultural exchanges between the two countries in various fields and benefit the people of both countries.
Wang Wentian hoped that the media will take this forum as an opportunity to continuously upgrade the level of China-Cambodia media cooperation, and deepen people-to-people and cultural exchanges.
Li Mengsen, a representative to Cambodia from China?Huaneng?Group also attends discussions of the forum. Li said Huaneng has actively participated in the construction of energy projects in Cambodia, having built and operated the largest clean energy project in the country. It works hard to improve local people's livelihoods and advocated the establishment of the China-Cambodia cultural exchange alliance. It will continuously deepen the cultural exchanges and integration between China and Cambodia.
The forum was jointly held by China Media Group, the Ministry of Information of Cambodia, and the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia.
