Public offered rewards for crime info in Heilongjiang

The public security bureau in Jixi, Heilongjiang province, issued a notice to the public recently asking for information about suspected crimes involving members of a group connected with Yu Tao, a former deputy director of the public security bureau in Harbin.
The statement was released on Oct 14.
People who provide valuable information, may receive rewards ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 yuan ($1,400-$14,000), the statement said.
Yu became deputy director of the Harbin Public Security Bureau in 2011. According to information from Chinese disciplinar authorities and the Supervisory Commission of Jixi, Yu was investigated in July, when he was the No 2 inspector in Harbin.
