Harbin's ice and snow sculpture competitions begin

The opening ceremony of the 36th Harbin International Ice Sculpture Competition and the 27th Harbin International Snow Sculpture Competition kicked off on Thursday at the Harbin Ice and Snow World in Harbin, Heilongjiang province.

The 36th Harbin International Ice Sculpture Competition, which lasts from Thursday to Saturday, has attracted 30 teams with 60 sculptors from 12 countries, including Ecuador, France, India, the Republic of Korea, Mexico, Mongolia, Montenegro, China, Russia, Serbia, Spain, and the United States.
