The accusation of "overcapacity" in the Chinese EV industry is disputed by Ashley Sutcliffe, director of external communications at Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, in an interview with @MediaUnlock, stating Geely is even "under capacity" for ever-high demand. Ashley argues that collaboration between China and Europe will benefit consumers and Chinese EVs remain competitive due to the scale and production efficiency. He notes that tariffs will ultimately force consumers to bear the cost.
