Peng'an county blossoms into tourism hub with flower-themed events
Peng'an county in Sichuan province is leveraging its abundant rapeseed, peach and plum blossom resources to fuel cultural tourism and rural vitalization through flower-themed events.
The ongoing rapeseed blossom festival in the county's Muba township has introduced a series of innovative activities alongside flower viewing, including qipao and hanfu (traditional Chinese attire) fashion shows, folk wedding parades, duck-catching competitions in rice fields, and tea brewing around stoves, offering visitors an unprecedented immersive experience.
The peach and plum blossom festival in the Xinyuan township of the county, which kicked off on Monday, has drawn many visitors to take photos and stroll through the sea of pink peach blossoms and white plum blossoms.
