Gui'an Cherry Blossom Park: Guizhou's springtime wonderland

Gui'an Cherry Blossom Park in Southwest China's Guizhou province is about to unveil its most magnificent display as 700,000 cherry blossom trees reach their peak bloom. This extraordinary scene is set to captivate the world with its divine beauty.
Spanning 24,000 mu (1,600 hectares), the park's cherry blossoms cascade over 100 isolated islands, blending with the serene lakes and majestic mountains.
The flower viewing season unfolds in the park from March to April each year. The season begins with the early-blooming red cherry blossoms, then the expansive pale pink and white blossoms, culminating with the late-blooming pink cherry blossoms.
Public transportation guide
1. High-speed railway: Direct trains to Pingbanan Railway Station or Gui'an Railway Station. The park is approximately 15 kilometers from Pingbanan and can be reached by bus or taxi.
2. From Guiyang: Direct buses to the park depart every 30 minutes from Guiyang Railway Station, Guiyangbei Railway Station, Huaxi University Town, and Huaguoyuan.
Must-visit spots
Fanying Square: Located southwest of the visitor center, this is the largest area of early-blooming cherry blossoms.
Observation Deck: The highest point in the park, located north of the visitor center. Visitors can see waves of cherry blossoms and the shimmering waters of Hongfeng Lake.
Manying Garden: Situated in the southern part of the park, northwest of the visitor center, this area features the largest concentration of cherry blossoms.
Xunying Road: Visitors can stroll and experience the immersive sensation of "a sea of flowers above and fallen petals below".
Luoying Road: The pink petals of late-blooming cherry blossoms on both sides of the road drift on the wind.
Yingxue Road: A popular trail in the park, where the ground is covered with a thick layer of white petals during peak bloom.
