The popular coronet magnet has seen more than 1 million sales, a 20-year record at the creativity product department of the National Museum of China. Li Yafei, a visitor from Shandong province, bought the millionth fridge magnet.
The magnet was inspired by an empress’ crown of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It is adorned with precious stones and pearls. The crown is on show at Ancient China galleries. The National Museum now offers over 20 products, showing the brilliance of traditional culture.
