The ongoing exhibition Hills and Ravines highlights the works of Chen Feng, an acclaimed artist for decades. On display are dozens of mixed-media paintings in which he offers an alternative perspective of qiuhe. No longer focusing on a general view of nature, he uses texture and unique shapes for mountains, rocks and rivers by utilizing putty knives and mixing resin, foam and other materials.
Curated by Xia Kejun, the exhibition is running at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing until April 22.
