2014 China-South Korea Art and Culture Night kicked off on Dec 29 in Beijing. Kim Jin Gon, curator of Korean cultural center in China, Kwon Youngse, Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to China among others, were present at the event.
During the event, Korean artists performed traditional dances and songs for the audience. Korean hairstylists introduced and designed 2014's most popular hairstyles.
Ambassador Kwon also appointed the four 2014 Miss Koreans cultural ambassadors for further promotion of Korean culture in China.
South Korea's kimchi was included into UNESCO's intangible cultural heritages last year. In celebration, the sponsors prepared a section to teach each attendant how to make authentic Korean kimchi step-by-step.
