Smart tourism makes travel easier in Kunshan

The Kunshan Tourism Resort has further facilitated the ease of travel within the historic city by providing free Wifi at A-level scenic spots and extensively upgrading its official WeChat account.
These latest developments are an example of the smart tourism model being adapted by Kunshan Tourism Resort as it tries to attract a greater number of visitors from the newly opened Shanghai Disney Resort.
After half a year's worth of development, Kunshan's new WeChat account (kslydjq) now offers a "Tourist Helper" service. This feature provides visitors access to a map, a variety of audio tours and the ability to book tickets electronically. The WeChat account also offers in-depth information about scenic sites, food, hotels, and shopping.
These latest developments at Kunshan Tourism Resort are part of a wider movement of smart tourism. Such efforts use modern technologies, including cloud computing, and place all the information a tourist could ever want into the palm of their hand.
