Shanxi province will set up 37 bus lines in 2014, to directly link more than 20 of Shanxi’s famous scenic spots with the downtown areas, high-speed railway station, and airports around the province, Shanxi Daily reported on April 3.



 






Due to strengthening of the environmental protection of Datong city, Shanxi province, the water quality in the upstream wetlands of Sanggan River has clearly been improved.

A discussion panel was held in Datong, Shanxi province, on March 6, to talk about the establishment of the Datong Cultural Tourism (Investment) Group Co in the city.



 






The Shenxi Wetland Park, located in Hunyun county, Shanxi province, has been recently approved as the pilot of a national-level wetland park construction, which also marks the first time a wetland park in the northwest area of Shanxi has achieved such a qualification.



 






The Shanxi provincial housing and urban-rural department bureau said that 5 million yuan would be invested in the further protection and restoration of ancient villages in the province in 2014.
