Western education teaches children to be a person first. It encourages students to do what they want and are interested in. It is more effective than Chinese students who study for a job; what is in the Chinese students' minds is how to get a high score in the coming exam, how to pass the college entrance examination to attend a better university and how to find a nice job after graduation from school. They spend so much time studying no matter whether they like or not. That's why Chinese students have good scores, but performed poorly at their jobs.
