Donyell Marshall matched the NBA record with 12 three-pointers and the
Toronto Raptors broke the league mark with 21 from behind the arc en route to a
128-110 rout of Philadelphia.

Philadelphia[AFP] | Marshall, an 11-year veteran, was 12-of-19 from three-point range. He sank
six in each half to tie the all-time record set by Kobe Bryant of the Los
Angeles Lakers against Seattle on January 7, 2003.
Marshall equaled the mark with a three-pointer from the right corner with
2:52 to play. He remained in the game for a chance to break the record but did
not make another.
Overall, Marshall scored a career-high 38 points on 13-of-22 shooting and
grabbed 10 rebounds in just 28 minutes off the bench. His previous career high
was 37 with Golden State at Milwaukee on February 23, 2000.
Marshall led an awesome display from the arc by the Raptors as they exploited
the defense of the 76ers, which is designed to flood the side of the court with
the ball and surrender perimeter shots from the weak side.
Toronto made 21-of-34 three-point attempts to break the NBA record of 19 set
by Atlanta against Dallas on December 17, 1996. In addition to Marshall, Morris
Peterson was 4-of-6, Rafer Alston was 2-of-3, Jalen Rose 2-of-4 and rookie Matt
Bonner 1-of-2.
Despite making 12-of-18 three-pointers in the first half, Toronto held just a
63-60 lead. But the Raptors scored the first six points of the decisive third
quarter, when they scored 36 points with the help of just four three-pointers to
open a 99-75 lead.
